During my stay at Grand Copthorne Waterfront, I appreciated the spacious rooms with fantastic views, especially from the 26th floor where I could watch the National Day fireworks. However, the overall experience was marred by some issues like noisy renovations and inconsistent service at breakfast. The location is convenient for exploring the nearby Robertson Quay, but the hotel could offer better dining options and clearer communication about their facilities, like the free shuttle service.

I had a lovely room on the 26th floor with modern amenities and a amazing river view. However, the initial room on the 13th floor felt quite dated. The beds were comfy but rooms were a bit small for the price.
Service
6.0
The staff worked hard and were friendly, but service could be more attentive, especially during breakfast when it was chaotic. There were times my key card failed, and staff could have been quicker to assist.
Location

The hotel is perfectly located near Robertson Quay, allowing easy access to local restaurants and attractions. However, it's a bit removed from the main downtown area, and I found public transport options a bit inconvenient at times.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast options were plentiful with a mix of cuisines, but the dining area was quite hectic. More attention to cleaning tables and managing the crowd would improve the experience. Dining options overall felt limited for a five-star hotel.

The pool was nice for a quick dip, but I found it small and the whirlpool was cold. The gym and tennis court were decent but not amazing.

My stay at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront was a mix of positives and negatives. While the staff, especially Gaylen, made a commendable effort to enhance our experience, the hotel itself felt a bit dated. The location was ideal for enjoying the riverside atmosphere, but there were some drawbacks in terms of cleanliness and service consistency.
Rooms

The rooms, although spacious, had some issues. I found the bathtub in need of some serious cleaning, which was disappointing. However, I did enjoy the beautiful view and the overall size of the room was a plus.
Service

I had a positive interaction with the staff. Gaylen went above and beyond to assist us during our early check-in. However, I did encounter some less-than-friendly staff during breakfast, which marred the experience.

The hotel's location is pretty great. It's just a short walk to Clarke Quay and near various bus stops. The upcoming MRT station nearby will certainly improve accessibility in the future.
Dining

Breakfast had a decent variety but was quite chaotic. I faced a frustrating moment with unhelpful staff during breakfast, which overshadowed the overall dining experience.
Facilities

Facilities were adequate but somewhat underwhelming. Room service wasn't as responsive as I hoped, and some amenities felt a bit outdated.

I had an interesting stay at Grand Copthorne Waterfront, with some aspects really shining. but others left much to be desired. The room was large and bright, offering a comfortable space, yet I encountered several service hiccups along the way. The dining options seemed limited and could definitely use more variety, especially authentic local cuisine.
Rooms

The room I stayed in was spacious and bright, complete with essential amenities like a big fridge and free Wi-Fi. However, it did feel dated and had an odd smell, which was disappointing.
Service

While some staff were helpful and friendly, like Jay who assisted with luggage, others didn't provide the best service. I faced issues with housekeeping, taking too long to address simple requests, and I found the breakfast service frustrating due to a rude server.
Location

The hotel's location is generally good, being close enough to access many attractions. That said, it's a bit far from the nearest MRT station, requiring a 15-minute walk.
Dining

Dining could be more varied, as the offerings were quite limited and on the pricey side compared to local food options. While the buffet was decent, I felt it lacked authentic local choices.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, with a nice gym and a useful laundromat. It was great to have access to a shuttle service, but the overall comfort in the foyer areas could be improved.

I had a comfortable stay at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront, where the staff provided really good service. The room was clean and offered a lovely view, but some areas could use an upgrade. While my experience with check-in was a bit slow, the amenities and location made up for it. 😊

My stay at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront was quite enjoyable overall. The views from my room were stunning, and the location along the river made for lovely walks. While I appreciated the friendly staff and the access to the executive lounge, the breakfast area felt a bit cramped, and the service could be improved during peak hours. Nonetheless, the experience was nice, and I'd consider returning.
